Students queued at water troughs outside a Miami arena. Three more campuses are booked.

UniteUS filled the basketball arena at the University of Miami on a Tuesday night in late September. When the service ended the baptisms moved outside, into water troughs set up in the open, and leaders stood beside them baptising students one after another late into the night while friends crowded round and applauded each one.
Tonya Prewett, who founded UniteUS and preaches at it, posted afterwards that "God marked the University of Miami tonight." The organisation's own account called it "what revival looks like." Hundreds of students committed to follow Jesus and to be baptised, according to Prewett. No exact count has been published.
Where this came from
A mother praying for a campus. In September 2023 Prewett's team booked Neville Arena at Auburn University and about five thousand students turned up. Two hundred were baptised in a lake nearby. By October 2024 they were in Reed Arena at Texas A&M with more than ten thousand in the room, and Jennie Allen, who runs IF:Gathering, was preaching.
Prewett put the running total then at more than seventy thousand students across eleven campuses, with around five thousand professions of faith and close to two thousand baptisms. Those are the organisers' own figures, from two years ago, and nobody outside the organisation has audited them.
It has not slowed since. The autumn 2025 tour opened at Lloyd Noble Arena with nearly nine thousand students from the University of Oklahoma, and ran to six more campuses after that. Churches are reporting the same pattern: Lakepointe near Dallas baptised 882 people in a single Sunday in September.
The Auburn numbers are the ones worth sitting with. Five thousand in the arena, two hundred in the water. Whatever is happening at these events, the arena count and the baptism count are not the same measurement, and most coverage quotes the first one.
Where it goes next
The schedule is published in advance, which is a slightly odd thing about a movement being described as a spontaneous act of God. Appalachian State in Boone, North Carolina is on 13 October. South Alabama in Mobile is on 27 October. Belmont University in Nashville follows on 10 November.
Prewett is not aiming low. On the There Is More podcast she said: "Don't pray short. If God can fill basketball arenas, God can fill football stadiums."
What will actually settle it is not the arena. It is whether a student who climbed into a trough in Miami in September has someone to eat lunch with in November. The campus ministries inherit that part, and they are not the ones holding the microphone.
